Women’s Straight Jeans

Of all the cuts in the collection, the straight cut draws the least attention and gets worn the most. The leg falls from knee to hem without widening or narrowing, leaving the rest of the outfit to speak. It also comes in the most variations: slim or wide leg, low or high rise, a floor-length hem or one that ends at the ankle. Straight jeans are not a single cut but a family, and the one with the most styles among our denim jeans.

Straight jeans, a slim straight cut or a wide leg

Under the same name sit jeans that are actually quite different from one another. Straight jeans fall in a clean line from the hip without narrowing at the calf. A slim straight cut follows the leg more closely without ever clinging to it, and slips easily into a boot. A wide-leg straight cut keeps the same line with more room, in the spirit of men’s trousers. There is also the girlfriend cut, slightly cropped at the ankle and more relaxed. For a leg that opens out, discover the flared jeans, and for a rounded leg, the barrel jeans.

High or low rise: which straight jeans to choose?

The rise of jeans changes the silhouette far more than the leg does, and it is often what makes a pair the one you reach for every day. A high rise brings the line up to the narrowest part of the waist, shortening the torso and lengthening the leg. It is the cleanest version, worn with a tucked-in top. A mid rise sits at the hip and feels the most neutral, the one you forget about once it is on. A low rise sits below the navel and needs a slightly longer leg to keep the proportions right. Our wool trousers follow the same approach, in a dressier register.

Straight jeans, from tailoring to workwear

Two pairs of straight jeans with the same cut can look very different, depending on how they are made. A pressed crease at the front and back brings jeans closer to tailored trousers; that is the approach behind our Jerry in black denim. A visible hem at the bottom of the leg and a denim button, by contrast, bring them back towards workwear, in the spirit of our jeans jackets. The colours in our Fall-Winter 2026 collection remain simple: a thick raw denim that develops a patina with wear, an ecru that brightens winter outfits, and a washed olive green that moves away from blue without leaving denim behind.
